I Want to Change the Device I am Using for Two-Factor Authentication

Modified on: Mon, 10 Apr, 2023 at 12:00

All you need to do is deactivate your current Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) first, then enable the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) method on the other device you want to set it up on.

Should you not have the original device, please visit us on Livechat which is available 24/7 to assist you with your next steps.

Disabling Two-Factor Authentication

  • On your Hugo’s Way profile, go to the "Settings" tab.
  • Click the ‘Disable’ button under the Two-Factor Authentication section.

Once the above is done, you can now proceed to set up 2FA on the new device.

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via an Authenticator App

  • On your Hugo’s Way profile, go to the "Settings" tab.
  • Click the ‘Enable’ button under the Two Factor Authentication section.
  • To find the requested code, download and open the Google Authenticator app on your phone and tap Begin Setup. Once you've used your phone to scan the barcode displayed in your browser, click Next. You will then be prompted to enter the authentication code that will appear on your phone.
